On Tuesday 26th June the Curlews went to Stover Country Park. It was a lovely sunny day and we enjoyed being out under the trees. In the morning we went pond dipping. We managed to catch lots of creatures such as water boatmen, back swimmers, dragonfly larvae and even a newt! The Ranger helped us identify them and told us about their life cycles and how they survive in their habitat. Later we went on a habitat walk around several different habitats. We found out about the woodland, the lake and the marshland. We saw lots of wildlife and learnt a lot! We had a great day.
