Message from Rev. Burton regarding Remembrance Sunday
On Remembrance Sunday this year (13th November), the service of Remembrance Sunday will take place at 10:00 a.m., immediately followed with a procession with standards to the War memorial in time for the Act of Remembrance at 11:00 a.m.
No Pass, No Travel
This is advance warning that as from September, Dawlish Community College will be running a system whereby if any child does not have a valid pass for the bus to school, they will not be allowed to travel on the coach. This is to ensure that potential behaviour issues are kept to a minimum and that the school can continue to ensure that its learners are safeguarded well. It is also being introduced to ensure that all children travelling have seats on the bus.
As we have quite a few children who will be attending DCC from September, can all parents please ensure that they have their child's travel arrangements sorted out in preparation for this. Please contact Dawlish Community College on 01626 862 318 for more details.
