Puffins’ Cave Paintings

Posted on

The Puffins have been hard at work making their own cave paintings, as part of our topic on the Stone Age to Bronze Age.

The children mixed their own ‘paint’ using solid vegetable cooking oil mixed with different pigments, such as charcoal, paprika, sand or chalk. They then applied it in their own design using their fingers and simple tools.

The children worked very hard and the finished work is now on display outside the classroom.
